In 1996, she married Arturo Venti, with whom she started a family. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts, majoring in Painting, from the Instituto Universitario de Estudios Superiores de Artes Plásticas Armando Reverón in Caracas in 2002. Her studies encompassed a wide range of disciplines, including Graphic Arts, Sculpture, Photography, and Ceramics. Fuentes refined her artistic skills through mentorship with Spanish painter José Antonio Aranaz and workshops at the Escuela de Artes Visuales Cristóbal Rojas, where she delved into Analytical Drawing, Sculpture, Painting, and Graphic Arts alongside internationally acclaimed contemporary artists. In addition to her visual arts training, Fuentes explored Fashion Design and expanded her academic achievements with a master’s degree in Advertising and Business Communication from ESIC in Madrid, Spain (2004-2005).

Fuentes' works have been featured in solo exhibitions across Venezuela, Spain, and the United States. Notable exhibitions include Silent Steps at Miami International Fine Arts (2025), Nada en el trastero at the Delegación de Juventud, Ayuntamiento de Estepona, Spain (2011), and Huellas at the Biblioteca Raúl Leoni, Caracas (1997). She has also participated in numerous group exhibitions, such as Tery Fuentes at Midtown Weston, Florida, USA (2022); Expo Intercultural 2009 at Punta Negra Desea/Palacio de Ferias y Congresos, Marbella, Spain (2009); Medidas Variables at Museo Alejandro Otero, Caracas (2006); and Espontáneamente coleados vamos at Sala Mendoza, Caracas (1997).
